The Nostalgia Feeling
I played WoW back in 2004-2005 and did so for many years. At some point when the expansions and “story” go a little too much I only played here and there. Retail today I just can’t stand. Don’t get me wrong it has some great features I want in any MMO. But the existence of leveling system and everything just move as fast as you can doesn’t do it for me. I found my self playing retail alone, never talking to anyone because of it.
So when the announcement of Forever I was excited! Sounds like what I want. Classic but the idea of getting new updates just in a different dimension so to speak? I’m all for it.
Forever Beta
I played Forever Beta with 2 of my friends that will be joining me today on the actual release. I mostly just focused on getting to level 20 and get the feel of it again. Past getting to level 20 I didn’t spend much time. Don’t want to repeat everything all over again in just a month.
I knew exactly what I wanted to play before beta even started. Paladin. It was always my favorite class and I was a good healer back in the day. Unfortunately everyone will be playing paladin but oh well, I’m playing what I want to play.
Going Forward
I plan to update my friends and I progress of playing WoW Forever and see where this game takes us.
The release is today at 5pm my time however I fully expect not able to play on the servers until late or even tomorrow. First days are always bad…
