Been playing with ESP32 chips recently and wanted to monitor the temperature of my shed out back in this Texas summer heat. I’m not expert on coding so used AI to help figure out a script and get some diagarms on how to wire things.
I have it displaying on a eink status screen in my house that is running a raspberry pi zero. I call it my network status screen. It updates the screen with the status of my network devices and some cloud services to let me know when something is down. I made a new section on this eink screen to display the shed temperature.
The device is sitting in a 3D printed box, plugged into a battery bank. The battery bank is being charged by a 27 watt solar panel.
